Phone Charm!

 

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!! I have a lot of schoolwork!! So my best friend Shelby spent the night on Friday and she gave me this absolutely adorable phone charm! I love it sooo much!! I really wanna come up with a name for it.... Perhaps I shall think of a name while I attempt to write!! I might post again tonight if I can figure out another post!

School Again!!

Well, today was officially my first day of 10th grade.....I can't decide if I'm excited or not! There are certain subjects I'm really looking forward to, and certain subjects I could live my whole life without doing and be perfectly happy! I'm pretty excited about Creative Writing (Hopefully it'll help me with my stories!!), Spanish, and Geography...I don't particularly want to deal with Geometry....and I'm not quite sure about Chemistry and American Literature yet....Normally Literature would definitely be in the list of courses that I'm excited about, but one of the first things I have to do is read the Declaration of Independence which I'm not really looking forward to....but who knows? Maybe I'll start reading the Declaration and love it! I'm sure it could happen! (Probably not though...XD) On the bright side though, I get to read The Great Gatsby this year which I'm kinda excited for because I've never read it and I'm really curious now! As for Chemistry, I'll definitely have to wait to get into it before I decide my opinion on it...for the next couple of weeks it looks like it's only going to be mostly videos for me to watch, but who knows what will happen later on...I just realized it barely sounds like I'm still homeschooled....XD But there's multiple ways to tell that I am...1. My blog is still named "The Life of a Homeschooler" and 2. I'm writing a blog post at four in the morning.... Don't think I could do that if I was in public school! Okay, I probably need to go to bed now because I have three of my besties coming over tomorrow to visit before I go to Indiana to wait for my niece to be born!! Night!!

Nails at 5 A.M.!!!

 

 I almost forgot to name this post!!!!!!!!!! So anyway.....It's almost five in the morning and I totally just painted my nails.........I took nighttime cold medicine too....I should be out by now.....Oh well! XD I got blue nail polish all over my hand doing this too! Well, this is probably one of the most random posts ever....I'll try and post again tomorrow!! I dunno if I'll be able to or not because I have Arianna, Jae, and Leah staying with us and my cousins Lainey, Landon, Lincoln, and Lennox staying the weekend with us too so this is going to be a very insane weekend!! Hopefully I'll be able to get some peace and quiet at some point! And I'm starting school this Monday so I'm hoping I'll still be able to post every day (Even though I've been very bad at it lately...) though I may have to skip some days depending on how 10th grade is....9th grade was torture.....XD Well. I should probably try and go to bed now! Night!!

Purse Tour!

 

So, I was organizing my purse last night and I decided I might as well make a "what's in my purse" post while I have everything out anyway... I can't really believe that all of this fit in there.....but it did...XD

So I had 2 Dairy Queen receipts, a dance class receipt, a library receipt, a Walmart receipt, a ticket to a Chicago Bulls playoff game along with a set of contest cards, a wrist band (because we had box seats!) and a list of raffle numbers, about 8 green twist ties from the grocery store, a plaster (or something) egg, a sticky note with a drawing of my brother that my cousin drew, a small notebook, 2 pairs of headphones, four extra headphone covers, an eyeglass repair kit, a package of tissues, a portable battery, a book (I finally found one that can fit in my purse!!), 2 pens, 2 pencils, 2 business cards, a little penguin that my friend made me (whose nose accidentally fell off so I have to fix it...), a nail file, two packs of gum (one only has like two pieces left in it), a sheet of Doc McStuffins stickers that my niece gave me, 3 movie tickets (Insurgent, Cinderella, and Age of Adaline), a headband, my wallet, a nail file, three bottles of nail polish, a container of cover up, my MP3 player, my key chain (which has more key chains than keys...), a gumball from my sister's baby shower, a pack of Smarties (which my niece Arianna stole...), 3 ponytail holders (one of which is broken), a necklace, a ring, 3 bottles of lip balm, one bottle of hand sanitizer, a pin that Arianna gave me, and an old Wendy's keychain! Wow......that's a lot.....XD XD XD Oh! And Arianna decided to pop into the picture!! XD

 That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!! I know I don't usually post this early, but I was bored...XD I didn't post Saturday because I didn't have access to internet and yesterday I was really tired and we were at my sister's baby shower! I might post again later today if I can think of another post!

So, I figured I'd try out the whole "Throwback Thursday" thing.... I found this old pic on my phone! I'm pretty sure this picture is from either 2008 or 2009...This is a picture of me (right) and my friend Annalee (left) at a Secret Keeper Girl show. In case you didn't know, Secret Keeper Girl is a Christian group for girls. The one main thing I remember from this is that they let everyone pick out bracelets and Annalee and I grabbed the same ones without noticing until we got back to our seats! I can't believe how round faced I am in this pic!! Those were my first pair of glasses too!!!

House Tour!!

So today I'm going to give a partial house tour! The laundry room, my brother's room, and my parents' room are not included in this, but the rest is! The picture directly underneath is our front door/entry way :)

This is our library! Technically it's supposed to be the formal dining room, but we didn't really need one and my mom and I have always wanted a library in our house so now we finally have one!!

This is part of our kitchen! I love the cabinets and counter tops in our kitchen! I couldn't get the whole kitchen in here because of where I was standing, but really the only thing to the left is the sink and a bunch of cabinets....

Here's our actual dining room! You probably can't tell, but the little things hanging in the windows are little stuffed owls...XD Where the green rug is in the back corner is the door that leads to the backyard :) Annabelle decided to make a guest appearance.....XD

Here's the living room! Our couch is the most amazing ever!! It's soft! And super comfy!! We usually have a big round swivel chair on the right, but we had to send it to get fixed...:/ That's my special reading chair too!

This is the spare bedroom which is kinda being used for a storage room/study/partial library for the moment! XD I sit at that desk when I need total quiet for schoolwork...

And finally, here's my bedroom! Or at least my bed! I have wall stickers instead of a headboard....to the left of my bed is a bookshelf...(of course!) and to the right is my side table with my lamp on it :) Then on the right wall is my vanity where all of my jewelry and headbands/hairclips are, and directly across from my bed is my bookshelf with my favorite books (because I insist on my faves being in my bedroom) with my tv and dvd player on top!
